Meet Me @ 19th Street

Welcome to the online literary journal from Arch Street Press!

First-Quarter 2021 Competition Now Open!

Meet Me @ 19th Street is the online literary journal that holds quarterly competitions for first chapters of in-progress or completed novels. Each competition has a distinct theme, and as novels have the power to help us imagine how our own lives might be lived, we seek stories with positive social impact to inspire readers.
Each of the winners will receive $100 and consideration for the Arch Street Prize, which includes $1000, professional editing of the manuscript, a book contract and publication by Arch Street Press.
We’ve heard from friends and followers that one of the advantages they’ve found while under COVID-19 constraints is the time to focus on literary works in progress; for the initial 2021 competition, we welcome the first chapter of the novel you’ve been working on during the past aberrant year.
